Frequently asked questions

Does the Nia stroller seat turn to parent facing?

The Nia seat unit is world facing only; however, the seat’s peep window is perfectly placed so you can check on your little one whilst strolling. Plus, with the addition of the Nia carrycot and Glide car seat, the parent facing position can be used for easy access to your newborn.

How much can the basket hold?

Nia includes an 8kg storage basket which has plenty of room for all your essentials and more. Plus, with a drainage hole for sandy beach days or rainy walks – it will keep everything clean and dry whatever the weather.

How heavy is the Nia stroller?

With a total weight of 7.3kg, Nia isn’t just for trips away; it’s for every day. With a spacious carrycot, compact fold and durable chassis, Nia is a game-changer for urban living.

How easy is it to fold Nia?

When designing Nia, we wanted to make folding and unfolding as easy and stress free as possible. When using the seat unit, first remove the footmuff if in use and activate the two-step button to easily fold the stroller into its compact shape. Lastly, tuck away the calf support and use the carry strap to travel at ease.

When in carrycot mode, simply fold back the hood and use the two-step action button to fold away Nia like a dream.

Is Nia aircraft cabin approved?

Yes! Nia is the first IATA cabin compliant stroller in both carrycot and seat mode. It will comfortably and safely fit into an overhead locker, however, please check with your airline before boarding. Depending on space in the cabin, the crew may ask for it to be placed in the hold – that’s why we recommend using the stroller bag and folding before you board. If they do request for it to be put in the hold, simply ask for it to be returned at the plane door as you land to avoid queues at the luggage belt.

Is Nia suitable for newborns?

Yes. Nia is suitable from birth to 22kg (approx. 4 years) and can be used for newborns when the stroller seat is used in the lie-flat position. Alternatively, the Nia carrycot is also suitable from birth to approximately 6 months old.
